ITSSLE LINK / PRIVACY
About your connection and data.
How SnapWorks Lab handles, retains and deletes information in the itssle Link apps for Mac, iPhone and iPad and on this website.
Updated: 2026-09-13
Connections and shared content
itssle Link connects an approved Mac with an iPhone or iPad. Mac status, shared photos and documents, remote screen and audio, and text you explicitly choose to paste are processed between connected devices to provide those features. Shared file contents and remote screens are not used for advertising or analytics.
On-device information and retention
Pairing trust, device permissions and settings are retained on your devices to maintain your connections. Thumbnails and document reading caches are stored to speed up reopening; older unused items are removed when their storage budget is exceeded. Ending a remote session does not erase all pairing data or caches. Each document-cache open checks current access permission and file changes with the connected Mac.
Optional analytics and crash reports
App analytics and crash reporting are separate choices and are off by default. If enabled, Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics may process coarse location, device identifiers, product interaction, crash, performance, diagnostic and other usage information. This is not used for advertising tracking. Turning either option off in settings stops subsequent collection. Withdrawing analytics consent resets analytics data on the device; disabling crash reporting deletes reports that have not been sent. These actions do not immediately erase information already transmitted. See Firebase privacy and security information for service-specific retention and deletion practices.
Platform services
Apple CloudKit may be used for limited connection control information. If you configure Tailscale, that service’s privacy practices also apply. Shared photos and documents are not offered as a CloudKit photo-sync service. See the Apple Privacy Policy and Tailscale Privacy Policy for those services.
This website and support
Cloudflare hosts this website and may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and protect it. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. We have not added advertising, visitor analytics scripts, signup forms or tracking cookies. Support emails, attachments and reply addresses are retained and used to handle your inquiry, not for advertising. You can request deletion of your support materials using the contact below.
Disconnecting and deleting data
Revoke an approved device or shared-folder permission in device management on your Mac. In mobile settings, Clear Thumbnail Cache removes thumbnails and Reset Local Display Cache clears displayed status records; neither is a full document-cache deletion control. Deleting the mobile app, rather than offloading it, removes local caches in its app container. Mac originals and copies exported to Photos, Files or other apps remain and must be managed there. Deleting the app alone should not be treated as revoking device approval on the Mac.
Privacy requests and updates
For access, deletion or consent-withdrawal questions, contact sunset@snapworkslab.com. We may request the minimum information needed to identify the relevant data. If a legal retention requirement or technical limitation prevents full completion, we will explain the reason and available actions. Include only necessary personal content when sending screens or documents to support. We update this page and its date when features or data practices change.
